About New Vision for Africa

Mission & Vision

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27a(NIV)

God calls us to love throughout His word, it's at the core of the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 13:13 says "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

It is our desire to do whatever we are able using our gifts, qualification and preparation as well as financial resources to help bring about meaningful, lasting change. The vast need compels us to embark on an extraordinary mission that may only be accomplished by God's guidance, provision and enabling. We pray that you will come alongside us in whatever way you see possible as you partner with us on this journey of faith.

We're continually working hard to improve communities throughout Africa. If you're interested to see what we've been doing recently in West Africa (especially if you want to help), check out our causes list.

Making a Difference
Africa is a land of extraordinary beauty. In addition to the many varieties of wild life, it is a  continent which is rich in mineral wealth and agriculture. Populated by a people as diverse, talented and enterprising as any modern nation in the world it is a land of abundant opportunity.

In spite of the tremendous potential, the obstacles in the way of true freedom seem insurmountable - the scars of Apartheid, Civil Wars, corruption, conflicting ideologies and philosophies, epidemic diseases, increasing poverty, crisis in education, violence and economic depression all  add to the increasing instability of the region.

There is a need for help in the areas of health care, education and especially proactive assistance for the hundreds of thousands of children affected by the current (2014) Ebola crisis in West Africa, and those orphaned by AIDS in Southern Africa. Together with other caring people  it is possible to restore an atmosphere of hope through actively engaging these crisis through a revival of authentic and practical Christianity after the model that Jesus gave to us in Luke 4:18-19.
